At the beginning when Geppetto's son was killed in the bombing...what the fuck?

I definitely wasn't expecting the movie to escalate so quickly with that heartbreaking moment, lol. Especially with Geppetto being at his son's grave while the narrator (talking cricket) is like - "Time moved on, but Geppetto did not".

This movie didn't get a worldwide theatrical release (which is a shame). But I can imagine parents would have brought their kids to the cinema only to be like "Um...this isn't the movie I was expecting at all".

And then there are those scenes where Pinocchio is in the afterlife and meets the "Death" character. This movie is crazy, lol.
