Dreamland . . .
I just watched it. I'm not sure what to think about it. It was good. I like noir, and I don't mind slow moving plot in a noir setting. It wasn't quite as funny as previous seasons.

I value the idea of trying something new, something different.
But here's the thing, the original format allowed for more contained, short moments. It also allowed for a bigger quantity of funny moments.
In this season (and also one previous season) they tried to have a single story, moving along. This is cool, it's nice. But what we have to understand is that, to do this - have a single story instead of shorter stories with funnier moments - is that that one single story should be interesting. In Dreamland it wasn't very interesting, so the quality of the season was very average.
To do an entire season with a single story, being completely story driven, it should have a very nice concept with some very interesting turns throughout.
