People who attended early screenings have described it as blood soaked, including the war itself, and having gruesome scenes such as an arrow protruding from someone’s skull and an oliphant getting shot and bleeding heavily; the video games Shadow of Mordor and shadow of war were both R Rated (M Rated in video game speak) due to graphic violence so i wouldn’t be surprised if this one is too, I won’t complain if it’s not since I grew up with the lord of the rings movies, I’m just saying that early reports suggest it’ll be R and i wouldn’t be surprised if the reports are true

Either way, I’m ready for this movie and I bought the lord of the rings trilogy to prepare

Highly doubt they go for an R rating. I feel like Warner Bros already knows this films a bit of a gamble and will want to keep it PG-13.

I don’t know, they’re not leaning into the fantasy elements this time and it’s not tied to the main narrative either which also suggests it being R Rated with my keyword being possible

As of November 6th, it's PG-13 everywhere I look.
