Why does Annie get so mad......

When the officer wants her to bake something after they spend the night together, as if she hasnt been able to bake since the failure of her bakery. But earlier in the movie she gets out all her utensils and makes a very intricate cupcake, im assuming because she missed doing it. Just thought that was a stragne thing for her to get pissy about and walk out on him

She had told him MULTIPLE times by then that she didn't want to do it any more. It was a huge source of embarassment, frustration and disappointment in her life and she hated being reminded of it. He kept pressuring her and wouldn't lay off. Dude just didn't get it !

He only brought it up once where she said she didnt want to talk about it. Which is why the scene seems so forced, like they needed an argument so threw that in there

reply

Nope - he had brought it up twice before -

When he first pulled her over and was giving her a ticket
When they were sitting in the bar after she got kicked off the plane
and the morning after scene - that was his third time. How many times before she should get peeved? He knew enough, at least, that it was a sore subject. He was pushing his own agenda on her.

Yes he brought it up several times but she never made it clear she didnt want to bake or talk about it anymore except for 1 time. When he pulled her over the first time he said "hey you're cake baby" and she said yes. And he said "i love those cream filled things" she said oh the eclairs. That was it. She never got angry about it pr acted like she hated baking. And she goes home and makes herself an elaborate cupcake before that so its not like she never bakes now.

I disagree. Plenty of proof was given.
And she cooked in private, on her iwn terms, jot someone else's. You seem to be as bad at hearing mesages as he was.

You just want someone to argue with. Im sorry your life is so boring and meaningless that you have to argue with strangers on imdb to feel important. Now go away troll

reply

omg - I'm sorry your life is so boring and meaningless you can't see when a person is making common sense arguments. I can't help it if you don't pay attention to the movies and forget things, troll.
