Finally watch it and I'm not impressed. Don't know what all the fuss is about.

I don't get it. My wife still loves this show. I watched it all the way through with her and found it...sad and pathetic. These women acted like immature teenagers, and I doubt anyone, except maybe other immature teenagers, want to see that. The scenes weren't funny to begin with, but then they would just keep trying. If it isn't funny at first, it isn't going to be funny after doing it for 5 minutes. The Airplane movies were truly funny, as were Naked Gun, and Hot Shots.
I watch The League, and Raffi and Taco crack me up, my wife just says it's stupid and walks away without a smile. I don't understand why people vary so much in what they find funny, but they sure do.
You mean these women acted just like men in funny movies do all the time, just like men in The League do? They weren't acting like immature teenagers, they were acting like stressed out adults having issues with their friends.

share^^^ don't even try to figure out or ask why all the hate from these losers,... It's because they're miserable & dead inside. This movie was prob one the funniest & original laugh out comedy in a long time since Something about Mary.
It takes a lot for any movie to make me laugh out loud, if was funny because it wasn't just trying to make you laugh with corny lame predictable cliche jokes like 40 yr old virgin or Knocked up. It was naturally funny from the situations and the strength of the lively interesting characters which came about from the brilliant writing just like the TV show FRIENDS.
Friends had brilliant writing? Here's something you'll appreciate. Could you BE any more condescending to the people who didn't like it?

shareI agree 100% with you, Chris. I was excited to see this due to all the hype and Oscar buzz...and it was one of the most horrendously overrated pieces of excruciating garbage I've ever see. It was totally unfunny...I kept looking at my clock every few minutes just to see if it was any nearer the end. I actually watched a disc copy someone gave me, and immediately after it was over I destroyed the disc.
Utter overrated garbage.
