I just saw her on Ellen promoting the movie. Hugh Grant declined to be in the movie because he didn't like the script. I wonder if its because we're supposed to believe Bridget is pregnant at 45? I mean yeah it happens but its not all that common, right? Is the script going to address the subject of it being a late-life pregnancy?
Here's where I get a little sickened by the whole thing...you've got a woman in her 40s having unprotected sex, (gross),then having unprotected sex with another man, (double gross), and then she winds up pregnant and doesn't know who the father is? In real life, Who's to say they didn't ALL pass HIV and other STDs around, and in the process infect the poor, defenseless baby? Maybe this is why Hugh Grant passed on the movie/maybe he didn't want to take part in glamorizing such sleazy behavior.
Considering Hugh Grant got two different women pregnant within three months, and has four illegitimate children under the age of five (three of whom were born within a fifteen month period), I highly doubt he considers the movie as glamorizing sleazy behavior.
By the way, Bridget did use protection with both men. It just failed.
