Clark Kent only wore glasses as a disguise...

So why is he wearing them as a kid?

I think they did the same thing in Superman Returns. Makes no sense.

In the old comics, when young Clark was Superboy he wore glasses. This was also shown in the cartoon series. When John Byrne revamped Superman after Crisis on Infinite Earths, Clark didn't start wearing glasses until later in life but this still was not explained as he did not need a secret identity until he became Superman and he has perfect vision.
