Final scene (SPOILER, I guess)... (Yea or Nay?)

I would have preferred Indy to HANG UP his hat on the clothes pin, not snatch it back. He's not coming back again so why bother being coy? Show Marion hanging up her dress and Indy taking off his hat to "make up for lost time". Aside from the the obvious symbolism of "hanging up the hat", the audience would have gotten a good laugh out of seeing Marion and Indy "getting it on" more bluntly presented, which wasn't made clear enough for the audience I was with.

There is no guarantee this movie will work.

The whole franchise is about him, I think, for someone hasn't watched it, they are leaving room for him to do it again, with someone else.

If it doesn't work then it might just as easily mean no one will replace him at all, or at least for a very long time. Hanging up the hat is simply a more satisfying final image (and also sexier and funnier). I disagree with that decision but still liked the movie.

It's implied he dumped Marion and ran after Helena, Sallah, and the wananbe Shorty to continue on with their adventures.

So, you're saying Waller-Bridge turns him into an omnisexual like she did to Lando in the Solo film? LOL. Now, THAT would be quite a film....

He stores those little blue pills under the hatband...

I'd have had a funny scene where he loses his hat but at the end of the movie he opens a closet and there's like a dozen hats in there cause it turns out he actually loses his hat all the time.
