monster universe movies ranked from worst to best

godzilla (2014) - absolute dog shit. with annoying ass human characters that are boring. terrible visuals where everything is filmed at night and you can beraly even see godzilla.

godzila king of the monsters (2019) - annoying ass uninterseting humans with storyline that nobody cares about. ugly visuals and everything is filmed at night/rain so you cant see shit anyway. they killed ghidorra on its debut which is maybe the most iconic monster in the godzilla universe. the entire movie is a clusterfuck.

godzilla vs kong (2021) - at last they understood that nobody gives a shit about the human characters and they cut off their screen time and gave us more monster scenes. the visuals drastically improved. now we actually have scenes in daylight and we can finally see the actual monsters. the story is kinda dumb but at least the monsters are the focus

kong skull island (2017) - the only movie in the series that i can say is consistintlly good. the human characters are actually likable. the visuals are amazing. nearly everything is filmed at daylight. there are alot of cool monsters in the movie. the story line is simple and to the point. no stupid monarch conspiracy with terrorists vs good guys nonsense.

no annoying kids that shove themesevles everywhere. just solid story which is basically a reboot of the original king kong stroy. they get into skull island and they need to escape. simple and to the point. no need for tywin lanister as osama bin laden of the monsters. we dont need this shit. this movie is also the one i re-watch the most because it simply fun. there is alot of action. the movie dosent dragged. its a simple joy- ride

I can see that you are of the camp "monster smash...people boring".
Then don't go see "Godzilla Minus One". You will be disappointed.
The human story actually makes more sense than almost any other Godzilla movie I have ever seen. The characters are engaging.
You won't like the fact that Godzilla shows up in the first 15 minutes and then vanishes for a few years and then comes back as a bigger threat.
This won the Oscar for best special effects, but you won't like it because it isn't a "monster smash everything all the time".
You have a right to your opinion, but personally, I think "Godzilla Minus One" blows all other Godzilla movies out of the water!

1. thanks for the spoiler asshole. never asked you for story details. the movie wasent in theathers in my country and i'm still waiting for the blue ray release. again. nobody asked you anywhere to give me a plot synopsis of the movie you dumb spoiling idiot moron.

2. i dont mind human characters if they are interesting. shin godzilla had the same problem legendery had which is that the human characters suck balls. but at least shin godzilla was somewhat interesting because it was different from the rest.

dont think that just because its japan they dont have annoying human characters all over. they do. i tried watching the old ones and stopped because of it.

like i said. if the human characters are really interesting i'm in. its just that in godzilla 2014 and kotm 2019 the human characters are annoying as shit and i dont care about them

At least he didn't spoil that Noriko sacrifices her life to save Sumiko, or that at the end it turns out Noriko didn't die.

You're wasting your time discussing anything with this guy. He's one of many angry, opinionated trolls who want nothing other than to start a fight.

I agree-- Godzilla Minus One is masterful. I still like the 2014 Godzilla better, because I think a couple moments near the end of Minus One detract from its power, but it's a fine, fine movie.

If I were ranking the recent Godzilla films I'd have the 2014 Godzilla at 1, with Godzilla Minus One just a hair behind. Godzilla vs. Kong is next, and though it's in last place, Godzilla: King of the Monsters still has a lot going for it.

Yea. I agree. The very fact that he used profanity shows his lack of intelligence. Plus, his punctuation is all over the place.
