falcon is not interesting in the slightest

and dont tell me its because hes black, people want steve rogers because hes the real captain america. its obvious they replaced him because of woke reasons. falcon is not an interesting character, hes a background character, a c-lister, a joke. by that point soldier boy from the boys is actually a much more interesting captain america, i mean, at least hes not politicly correct.

dident watched the cap series or any other series on disney +, the marvel formula got old. its time to put that shared universe nonsense to rest and focus on stand alone movies like the original spider man films. shared universe its a joke.

as for general ross, i mean yeah wiliam hurt died but even before that, he was the main vilian in the hulk movie and then after that they got rid of him and his vendetta against bruce banner all together, just used him for some small scenes here and there, and now you suppose to tell us we should care about him? please....

reply

Seriously, Marvel (superhero) movies haven't been interesting for years now. Why would this be any different?

People gotta just let this stuff go.

If you think deadpool and wolverine was good, you deserve to keep getting these movies.

reply

none of the deadpool movies was good, ryan raynolds is annoying and the comedy is forced and not funny, i'm tired of marvel movies being just huge sitcoms over and over. it only works in a spiderman movie because thats part of his character.

seriously, it might be a hot take but i think the spider man movies are the only movies i really loved in that garbage mcu. and now they bring back tony stark, lol, they are out of ideas already? just end this already.

reply

I wouldn't know about Spiderman. I refused to watch that stuff after 2011

reply

they are not as good as the originals but not as bad as the ASM movies.

reply

I'm a DC guy but I enjoyed the Captain America movies because of Evans' portrayal. He absolutely nailed that 'out of time' charm and decency. I've no interest whatsoever in seeing this version.

reply

only the winter soldier was decent, the first one was generic and boring. dident even had a red skull fight. was made to set up nonsense for that horrible avengers movie.

civil turd is one of my most hated movies of all time. its such a incoherent mess made only to make them all fight each other just to ditch it up quickly.

reply

Civil War is so much better than Batman V Superman, which both came out the same year. Its not even close

reply

apples and oranges, just because BVS suck does not mean that CW not suck either. both are terrible movies

reply

There are so much more superheroes in Civil War than Batman V Superman

reply

that makes no difference how much super heros there were in this movie, it was still trash

reply

Steven Rogers was not interesting too, not until the first avenger movie.

But Falcon is unlikely to have the avenger moments, he also does not have the same respect from the others.

He is not even a super soldier, he is just a guy.

So yeah he is not going to be interesting.

reply

I liked him as a side-character, but I agree that he’s not main-character material. Prior to the MCU, he wasn't popular since he wasn't that interesting in the cartoons or comics. It wasn't until the MCU where they made him kinda cool, at least before Endgame.

And I always laugh when shills defend Captain Falcon by saying “it was in the comics.” OH NOW they care about the source material. Where was this when the MCU black-washed and fem-swapped various characters up till this point? I’m not an Eternals fan, but even I know the movie butchered them. If the MCU writers are gonna be faithful to the comics, then use the comics that people actually liked and supported.

reply

I couldn't disagree more. I've been reading old Comics with Sam Wilson/Falcon and while he hasn't gotten as much development in the movies I do look forward to him being Captain America. Let's face it. Whether you like it or not, Chris Evans has retired from the role and they want to try with Sam Wilson. Frankly I would hate to the idea of you reading the original Avengers comics since Cap eventually leaves the team for a while and Black Panther takes over his role.

reply

hot take: Cap was never interesting and evans was a bad actor as well. just not as bad (and ugly) as mackie.

soldier boy from the boys is more of an accruate representation of captain america then cap in the mcu

reply

You lost all sympathy with me when you said Mackey was ugly. That's such a mean thing to say. Nobody can help how they look.

reply

Well, they are bringing Evans back for one of the new Avengers movies now.

reply

Maybe if Sam had some serum so he wasn't human, then i could get behind the idea he's taking on red hulk

reply

I'd prefer Bucky/Winter Soldier as Captain America.

reply

I'm only going to see it for Red Hulk. I'm probably not the only one either

reply

He’s fine as a sidekick when he has little dialogue.

But he was insufferable in his series and he’ll be worse in this.

reply

I think the Falcon is cool but nope am not sold on him taking over the Cap movie. Gonna skip this one.

reply

Why are you so against a black person being Captain America?

reply

Stop making it about race.

It’s a lame accusation that never works.

Wilson doesn’t deserve the role because there’s only one Cap.

Steve Rogers.

He earned it.

Falcon got his ass kicked by a barely trained Ant-Man.

He’s one of the last people who deserves the title.

He also has no powers to back up the role.

Simply handing someone the shield doesn’t make them Captain America anymore than giving someone a shirt with an S on it makes them Superman.

reply

Yup Falcon is a separate character. He's not Captain and he's not Robin or Daredevil. And he's not the Black Panther either.
