She played Meredith,the girl who refused Jesse proposal. I guess they didnt cast an actress like her just for one scene,so she will appear again?

Haven't watched, may not watch. But what do you think so far? Is the comedic vibe different? Does it feel like a cousin to HIMYM, or does it just feel like a different sitcom that's sharing the name/gimmick?

Any callbacks to HIMYM?

Some gags are very Himym-style! And others are not. Its 50/50. About Himym callbacks: yes,there is a big one at the end of the first episode!
