Did this show hurt Gillian Jacobs' career a little bit?
Before Gillian was cast, she was in all these edgy roles and challenging movies. Since then, she's turned into a bland comedic actress.
shareI really liked Love on Netflix. Maybe that's bland comedy? I thought it was a really great investigation into a much more messy way for people to fall in love. It's also pretty funny and Jacobs does some amazing work, both comic and dramatic.
Pre-Community I hadn't heard of her. I have now. That's more career-building than harming.
