A sequel has also already been announced.

Oh it's coming to Apple tv that soon, that's cool.

reply

No, it is not cool at all. What is wrong with releasing it in theatres and then on streaming a few months later? Everybody’s happy.

reply

It would be nicer if it was in theaters, but since it is not it's cool that it's coming to Appletv. At least we get to see it.

reply

I'll do a one-week free trial on Apple to see this and The Instigators.

reply

The Instigators was alright. Perfect movie to kick back on a Friday night with a beer and watch and then forget about right after.

reply

I really liked the instigators.

reply

Fuck all of this Streaming Bullshit that is destined to ruin movie theatre business if it's not a MARVEL movie mind you.. Good God, I mean is it Ok to release a movie for adults in the theatre that aren't into the latest offering from Disney/MARVEL??

reply

Well you can blame Apple for giving movies ridiculous amounts of money for budgets that they were guaranteed to flop

reply

Apple must be pretty confident they have a hit on their hands if they're already planning a sequel before the 1st movie comes out and if they were so confident this was good, why not a 2 week theatrical run??

reply

That's what I'm thinking too. I wonder if they are just trying to play it safe after having so many flops after the past year. Even with Clooney and Pitt I'm not sure how this would do at the box office.

reply

Movie theaters must be protected at all cost.

reply

The plan for the sequel was made when the movie was planned to be wide-release, but now Apple canceled the latter plan. Don't be surprised a few months or even weeks later when Apple announces it will cancel the sequel.

reply

They made the right decision because this has flop written all over it, what a joke. Now I legitimately have no desire in watching this manure. Sell out piece of sh-t.

reply

Looks like Tarantino was right. Clooney isn't a movie star.

reply

Tarantino is wrong. Of course Clooney is a movie star, he's just not a big box office star. George Clooney is a rich and famous actor who has starred in many movies. A movie star is a famous actor who lands very lucrative leading roles in a lot of mainstream movies. That is George Clooney's movie career and he has a moderate amount of fans who've paid to watch his movies, but for some reason, he just hasn't been much of a big box office draw. That said, it's foolish to think that George Clooney is not a movie star.
