Any human being will panic under the right circumstances (even Delta Force or similarly trained individuals)
shareWell, take a look at the overall Russian performance in Ukraine. It does not paint much of a pretty picture of how good their military is. The only thing they seem to have going for them is there are a lot of them and they just pound everything into the ground with their artillery and missiles. The Wagner forces seem to be much better than the regular Russian army.
Interestingly in the 1984 film Red Dawn we see the Spetsnaz get easily wiped out by the teenagers in the snowy mountains. Okay, just a movie. But it just comes down to human vs human in combat. Special forces would have had good training and good weapons/equipment.
But at the end of the day they are just special operations troops. Most of them are likely not much tougher/better than the average guy out there. I've known a few of these types. They were nice guys. Respectful and polite. Not that big. Probably outside of their weapons/teamwork/training they were absolutely no more alpha than many other guys out there. Just offering some perspective on the myth that they are supermen. They are trained to do specific things. Most can't take on the world by themselves.

shareLOL. I don't think I want any of those guys here. I was just saying what I have ascertained from reading reports that the Wagner forces seemed to accomplish more than the regular army. Hard to believe the Russian forces are so poorly trained, equipped, supplied and led. Morale is a big thing. No one believes much in such a stupid thing.
