The people who made this film have a lot against Predator 2 e.g changing the design of the Predator (yeah. 'changing'). Some people b'tch about that movie but I never got why. I think they're both good.

shareBy a country mile I would say. Although it’s not considered the ideal setting for a Predator movie, I dug the whole concept of Predator 2. But, whilst it is an enjoyable movie with an interesting story, the 1990 sequel’s execution fell completely flat. The movie also looked rather cheap.
Predators? It could’ve been something greater. Yet I thought that it was a return to form for the Predator after the underwhelming 1st sequel and the crossover AvP movies. Unremarkable, yes, but it had the proper tone and hard-hitting violent action a Predator movie should have.
The latest Predator? It’s hasn’t been well-received, but personally I say it took the right direction (as flawed as it was) and delivered all the good Predator mythology/violence. What’s more, it has the most entertaining character interactions since the original. I liked it better than Predators, which means it’s my personal favorite Predator after the ‘87 classic. Comparisons to the original aside, they’re all decent movies in their own right.

The other two(?) are crappy. I just have a weak spot for Danny Glover, made me enjoy Predator2 more :). But yea this is definately the third best predator or second.

shareI'd.... put AVP above Predator 2. They're sort of the same footing but there's some great scenes in AVP. I actually love the story elements of of P2 a great deal. I remember the movie fondly. But every time I revisit it, it's like.... oh, this isn't very good.

I thought it was a good movie, but not as good as Predator 2. The subway scene itself was better than the entirety of Predators.

great scene - street battles, slaughters house, penthouse, predator mothers ship, subways
great character - bill paxtons, danny glover, garey busey, robert davie
great new pred weapon - pred spear, net gun, smart disk
predators have:
no great scene - nothing stand out apart from samurai, but pred should kick samurai ass, no way samurai kill pred
no great character - everyone just make up numbers. no stand out personality. average characer
no great pred weapon - same thing we seen before.
Predators was uninspired, Predator 2 is a WAY better movie.
