So who was Q before Ron?
Was Q always the Watkins?
Obviously, it says Ron was Q in the end but did the documentary say the dad started it?
Q changed writing style as though the person changed when he came over to 8chan. Was this when Ron took it from Jim?
Jim Watkins lied about being interested in politics, he used to be deep into political activism, he came from a military security clearance background, he hoaxed the blue Q, he tried to say “Q” was perhaps from Star Trek and not military lingo, his plain weirdness, and his obsession with pens..... plus they referenced an independent profile analysis that concluded Q was not tech-savvy and likely an older man. It all fits....
Then at one point, his son Ron Watkins takes over - updates the security algorithm, and just runs with it..... finally, he retires Q and pretty much continuous the same path under his own CodeMonkey...
Q’s love for pens and watches are fathers and sons wink-wink.
Is that the right read?
Or did Ron hijack the “real” account and run with it?
I am thinking; if Ron did hijack the real Q from some governmental official, as that Paul Fauber said, why didn't this Q react somehow? Well, if Ron took it from his crazy dad, Q wouldn't react. See what I am saying?
The profile of the Watkins seemed driven to push that political rightwing narrative, and not to neuter it... so it just strikes me a bit odd for someone like the Watkins to steal (and effectively silence) the real Q. It doesn't fit with their agenda, I think.
And yet, we “know” Ron ended up having it ... I feel there is a disconnect.... Idk; based on what I learned from the Documentary, Jim was the first. And when 8chan became, Ron took over the mantle.
It was always the Watkins.
