Ok i know the friend who was confronting Cooper when he was mowing the lawn was meant to be the bad guy, but he's not wrong, his friend, her husband was barely in the ground a few weeks and she had a new man at her house. And what he said is true, he did it deep down cause shes hot as hell and wants to fuck her, no matter how noble he seems deep down he does, he wouldn't be doing this for an ugly chick.

Then she straight up just moves him into her house and curling up with him in bed and is just about to fuck him before they're interrupted. All the while again her husband has just died not even what a month ago? Thats fucked up, you move on that quick from a man you just had a baby with who tragically died? And for a dirty scraggly hillbilly you barely know? Then she had the nerve to get upset when Tommy even dares questions their unbreakable love, give me break.

Either way her character looks bad, if shes truly in love with Cooper thats fucked up cause your husband who you loved and had a baby with just died and you move on in 5 minutes. If shes just using him for security and someone to take care of her, again thats fucked up.

her little speech at the dinner table summed it all up pretty well,
but i think it's a stupid way to drum up the drama in a show that didn't need it to begin with

The point is it wasn't any of the friend of the husband's business what she was doing with him. Is he the protector of her vagina? Would he have gotten worked up if the guy moving in was Latino?

Did i say he was a good guy and right about how he acted? no, but what he was mad about was fair points, her husbands been dead like a week and shes got a new man in her bed, thats a terrible person. He shouldn't have pulled up with a gun and yelling, but watching it before he showed up i was thinking the same shit.

Ok gotcha. Yeah, but it's ultimately up to them. People grieve in different ways....it's not like Cooper and Ariana even knew each other before the latter's husband died. That's a fact the attorney (Rebecca?) would've had to deal with if she had really tried to say Cooper orchestrated the accident.

Truer words have never been spoken on this board. Other than your claim that Cooper is a "dirty scraggly hillbilly." He's actual a "grungy, gap-toothed redneck." Hillbillies are by definition from the Appalachian region, although many of their traits do cross over with rednecks. Also, Rednecks are seen in a much more favorable light, especially in the past 20 to 30 years with the rise in popularity of country music, Jeff Foxworthy, and Larry the Cable Guy, and more recently due to shows such as Yellowstone.

I just thought he looked like a hillbilly with the gaped teeth and the sraggly look of his body and facial hair, i live in the Appalachian region and see a ton of guys who look like him. But redneck works as well, as you said some traits crossover between them.

Yeah, her moving on like that so soon really bothered me to. Its what bothered me most about show. Her speech to Tommy was the icing on the cake about her true character.

The friend that was mad and threatening wasn't wrong about Cooper. But she was certainly falling for it. I would've liked it if more time passed and the friend was more upset cuz he was jealous cuz she turned him down. That would've been a far more plausible story to sell the audience.

Plus it been nice if show did skip time some. So much went wrong in such a short time that i think the company would be losing and going bankrupt. So skip ahead some months so it doesn't seem so much crisis is happening so soon and to get a better story with Cooper & Ariana going
