Wedding makes no sense.

Didn't wanna write it in topic's name, but SERIOUSLY? Stefan marrying Caroline? Really? They've ZERO chemistry, he will always love Elena and that's it. It's obvious that retarded writers want Damon and Elena to be the endgame, but that's just kills the premise of whole show.

Anyway, *beep* it, show lost itself long ago, now it's just poop anyway with *beep* sirens, hell and *beep*

P.S.

If you wanted Stefan to 'forget' Elena, you should've paired him up with Valeries, because they actually made some sense.

And just to make it clear. I'm not 'shipper' of anything, I'm not teenager either. It's just that stuff like this makes me regret I ever started watching this, because it was good early on.

I hear what you're saying and while I don't agree with ALL of it (I don't regret my relationship with the show), I have no desire to try and invalidate your feelings.

What I *do* want to point out in terms of a MASSIVE upshot to Sterolized June Wedding is that (theoretically) Stefan LIVES. Without a love story and accompanying happiness, Stefan rides the rails of a life without purpose. A very long, very tragic, very unpleasantly
vampiric eternity. And then Ian's vision for the brothers saying one final "cheers," and tossing their rings into the Carribean, thusly igniting the final credits, burning the image of a Stefankabob into our delicate psyches for all time, catches too much validity.

But if he's as happy as a cheese plate, rearing a family and potentially even keeping Elena on speed dial (a smoothie emoji by her name), he's got enough potential for a life fulfilled.

Having said that, the number 2 vamps I do NOT wish to see cured, because no amount of claims can convince me they want it, anymore than the audience does, are Damon and Caroline. Sure, hardcore Delenas may kinda sorta want it for him, because it "proves his un?dying love for Elena/desire to have her babies and grow old together," but 1. That was a Stelena thing and 2. the entire excitement of Damon/Delena is that he's a goddamn vampire! The way he winced and grimaced trying to imagine a human life (before the butt-patting old folks), I felt the same. Most of us did. Even those unwilling to admit it to themselves. Take away his super-powers and reckless abandon, Damon is basically, just a weak-resolved, bitter dick. You should always go with your first instinct, and both his AND Stefan's about a human Damon, were dead right.

It's funny, I lost so much of my love for late season 4 on vampire Elena, and yet I was utterly shocked and disappointed when she took the Cure. I guess it's kind of like with Stelena- they were my favorite love story, once upon a time, and I wanted it to last forever. But once it didn't, and once she'd spent a couple years growing away from herself, as well as being VERY with his brother, I had zero unrealistic desire to see them rekindled. Not to mention, Stefan deserved eons more. By season 6, vampire Elena was really fine with it all, she dug the super-powers, she's surrounded by super naturals, she never shuts up about how the "old Elena" is dead and gone, she was all about an ETERNITY with her love... So writing her as suddenly being desperate for her womb back, and a future that didn't deny her menopause, it felt about as ret-connish as the writers' about face on Stelena's significance.

-I know they wrote the Gem twins into Care's womb because of CandyCola's pregnancy, but had Nina stayed on, how perfect would that have been for Elena?! Like if she hadn't taken the Cure, I mean. She would get to be a momma, and would not have had to hide her vampirism/non-aging from her growing children, seeing as how they themselves are supernatural. The whole Ric part doesn't quite work here, but maybe she would have gotten some rando dying Gemini's babies instead?

As a hardcore Delena fan I agree with you. I think that's why I'm so bitter towards delena right now. I absolutely loathe the idea of a human Delena. I wanted their love to be Eternal and i thought that was much more romantic than turning human, popping out kids, growing old and croaking. It's just ew to me honestly and feels like a big retcon on both characters and it's making me dream my ships endgame.

Why are you so stressed out about this? People can fall in and out of love, it happens. Even more so if you're a vampire. It's impossible for Stefan to love a single woman for all eternity. Sometimes *beep* happens. Besides, we've already been shown that Stefan is a very emotional guy that has loved quite his share of women throughout his life and the trend will sure continue. You could argue that he loved Elena the most, sure but it didn't work out so he moved on.

Another interesting thing is that, usually, the first pairings in a tv show don't end up together. It's all about the couple that people want from day 1 even though it seems impossible for them to be together. This has happened over and over again. Also, Kevin Williamson was the creator of Dawson's Creek and we all know how that ended up. Did you really expect Stefan and Elena to last forever?

Personally, I think they'll pull some tragic *beep* and have Damon and Stefan die for each other in the last episode but if Elena is to end up with one of the brothers, it has to be Damon. People have been wanting this ever since the books came out. I really don't understand what you're talking about when you say that a Delena endgame kills the premise of the show.

Which would be worse - to live as a monster, or to die as a good man? 

Stefan has been "in love" with everyone...when the show begins he's immediately in love with Elena then we learn there was Katherine. Then we learned about Rebekah. Then we learned about Valarie....

Stefan and Caroline have secretly been planning a June wedding since season 1. He was just sewing his oats and living out his Katherine Pierce has a conscience fantasies with Elena. You know nothing...Jon Snow.

LMAO!!

We're all on our way out, act accordingly.

I agree. Valerie would have made more sense considering that she was Stefan's first love.
