Bonnie Not Attending Tyler's Funeral
Imagine the hate Elena would get if she'd missed his funeral to save Damon, yet no one mentions it when Bonnie does. For the record, I don't blame Bonnie for missing the funeral.

shareThe show has never gone out of its way to establish that Bonnie and Tyler had a particularly strong friendship. In season 6, he jeopardises the mission to rescue her from the Prison World because he wanted to protect his girlfriend, Liv Parker from Kai, even though he could have easily have asked for help keeping her safe - and let her finish her magic. He also gave no credit to Bonnie for bringing him back from the dead, and attributed his resurrection entirely to Liv, forgetting that Liv did the magic because she wanted to save her brother Luke, and the whole spell was Bonnie's idea in the first place.
So I don't find it too problematic that she didn't make his funeral a priority over turning on Enzo's humanity before he did serious damage.
I agree. Can you imagine Elena in a situation where she, yet again, has to sacrifice herself or something martyr-like for Damon's ass? Meanwhile, one of her best friends just died and you're missing the funeral. I would have hated her.
I thought it was just an odd choice to have Tyler's funeral at a time when Bonnie couldn't attend. And just cold for Bonnie to miss it, considering she has Enzo trapped! In a house in the middle of nowhere! So, its not like you can't step out and attend your friend's funeral, what the hell? And Bonnie has been with Enzo for over a week or whatever, so it's not like she hadn't already attempted cracking him before that day.
The whole thing was strange.
A rose is just a rose.
