CW reboots charmed!

I'm not sure I want to see the same thing happening again. I just hope it will be completely different. As long as Plec is not involved I'm ok with it. It's from the producers of Jane the virgin by the way.

Well if none of these actors have careers in 8 years either, they will be rebooting this year as well I'm sure lol

Julie Plec isn't the issue, it's the fact that people want to see Charmed with Wyatt and Chris (perhaps Melinda if she was done right), they don't want a reboot or a prequel.

Chris and Wyatt- I mean in my little fantasies, they'd do a series based around the Unchanged Future which was one of Charmed's best arcs and criminally underused but I'd settle for a next generation story. There's a lot of goodwill among the former cast, plus I think Drew Fuller and Wes Ramsey are available.
It'd be perfect.

The problem is that Charmed is beloved and every time they've tried, it's failed before it even starts.

I hope it's written like the first few seasons and not the disaster it was when Prue left

reply

You mean when the show could focus on other characters? Piper's own wedding became a vehicle for Prue's character. It was called Charmed, as in the Charmed Ones, not the Prue Halliwell show.

I never felt that Prue was the center of all the storylines. They evenly supported each other for the most part. After season four or five, the show became a joke.

Wait, Charmed has fans? That show was terrible. I bailed after the first season. Why on earth would they make a reboot?
