I'm a guy, and I'd have to say Enzo tops them all!
Damon's character is annoying and Stefan has that "the-Grinch-who-stole-Christmas" look. Matt is plain-looking, Tyler looks rather queer. Jeremy can't act for *beep* and the whole "Batman-voice" thing puts me off. Klaus isn't physically appealing, nor Kol, but I'be always liked his character.
Elijah's dapper. Alaric creeps me out sometimes. Let'a see, who else? Bald black guys (Jesse, Cade, Connor, Beau, that guy from the carnival that newly-turned Caroline killed, Luka, Luka's dad) don't quite do the trick for me.
All in all; Enzo and Kai win this one. The other characters come off as either fruity (Julian, Uncle John) or creepy (Professor Shane, Uncle John again).

I used to find Stefan very beautiful, but he's become kind of gaunt, and not in the hot, heroin-chic way. So I guess Jeremy. I'd also say Zach Roerig is smoking, but gottdamn Matt the character is such a downer. He's like the opposite of Klaus, who's personality improves his just okay looks.
Objectifying is different than finding someone hot. When we only talk about women or men's physical attractiveness (or lack there of) as if it is their only attribute and value, that is objectification. But if we're talking about who is the most physically attractive, that is very different. No one on this thread has reduced any of the cast to their physical appearance absent their value as people and actors, we are simply talking about who we personally find the hottest. I feel this is an important distinction because objectification is a problem (particularly for female actresses) and I don't want it to be confused with something else. Everyone has their preferences and that is the discussion here. The minute someone says "Nina is only good for her looks", well I am going to argue that.
shareOk, let me put it more clearly, I'm objectifying guys here. Coz Jeremy was pretty much only good for his looks. Just my opinion, though. I don't see it as a bad thing, au contraire, I think it's good that we evenly objectify the genders. Not to take anything away from their other positive points, of course.

Klaus. God Joseph Morgan is a handsome man. And the character of Klaus just adds an irresistible charm. Enzo is nice too. And I wouldn't turn down the guy that plays Kai, thats for sure. :]
