I loved Katherine, but the scene that stood out to me most was her looking at the drawings of her family. In that moment I realized just what she went through and I couldn't help but tear up at that scene.

Too many to remember them all but I'll add the most recent one:

Basically the ending of 8x08. Damon talking to the inmate and later finding Stefan munching on his victims at the hospital. Those scenes plus Malarkey's song in the background equal one of the best moments that TVD had to offer. Ever.
