Great Ending!

Does anyone else wish it ended differently? I thought the movie was fantastic and very realistic.

I think so. I searched this entire thread and have not found the same interpretation as I did. I'll explain ... at the end there was a guy that "cut" in front of Celeste at the convenience store. At first she was going to chastise him for this. Then she decided not to (initially). This is growth. HOWEVER ... At that point the guy told her about his dog in the parking lot and he needed water. Celeste then goes out in the parking and looks for a car with a dog in it and seems satisfied when .... (either she did or did not; I think it's the latter after reading her facial expression) and it is left to the viewers imagination as to her reaction. Does she let it go or go back in and give the guy a ration of $hit. Either way this symbolizes (to me) that Celeste still need to work on herself to be able to relinquish her control issues.

I really liked it, too. I was rooting all the while for the movie not to end with a clichéd and *beep* "happily ever after" thing like 99% of rom-coms. Luckily it didn't let me down.

I would have preferred they got back together.

I was actually thinking that Veronica was faking her pregnancy so Jesse would marry her and so she could get a green card. I mean it seemed like months and yet she was hardly showing in that waiting room.
