It's not an insult, unless you're really stupid enough to be confused by basic math. I seriously doubt that's the case, here: what's far more likely is that you're babbling the same typical, tired, out-of-context factoids that reality deniers always do.
Here's some simple context, for the cheap seats:
In Anywhereville, there are 1,000 Blues, and 100 Reds.
Last year, the cops shot 100 Blues, and 50 Reds.
Idiot reality deniers: The cops are shooting TWICE as many Blues as Reds!!!
Normal humans who can think clearly: This Is BAD for the Reds. Maybe we should look at some systemic cause and effect. . .
See how that works? Your response will pretty definitively answer the "are you an idiot, or just a disingenuous a$$" question.
I still don't see your point. At the end of the day, the police kill far more white people than black people, it is just that never makes the news. Also, vulgar insults are the tool of the intellectually feeble.
"At the end of the day, the police kill far more white people than black people"
Fascinating. Even when math and logic are explained in simplest terms, you are seemingly incapable of grasping simple truths. Key word: "seemingly." Stupid? Trolling? Shrug. Bottom line: your observations are a disingenuous attempt to skew a relatively obvious truth: minorities in America suffer from systemic biases; this is especially true of policing.
Nothing "vulgar" there. . .just (as I said) simple truths.
His statement was true. MORE whites are killed by police. You are saying there is a higher percentage, which may be true, but his statement is also correct.
What's your point? The fact that "the statement was true" ignores the more important point: it's IRRELEVANT. And it makes his *claim* FALSE, and his entire post ridiculous and disingenuous. To wit: Chris is not "telling the truth," and indulging "racist stereotypes."
The out-of-context fact that more whites are killed has NOTHING to do w/that. It's a skewed, incorrect way of looking at basic truths. Again, this is not complicated.
Some more Facts for you:
In 2019, of all welfare recipients, 52% were White; 17% were Black.
In 2019, of all welfare recipients, 31 Million were White; 9 Million were Black.
In 2019, 15% of Blacks in the US were on welfare, as opposed to 7% of Whites.
All these statements are True. However, it's obvious that only by considering all three (for a Start) do you begin to see what any of it Means. So to pick just one of them and extrapolate to some absurd conclusion is at best disingenuous, and at root Completely Wrong.
There was no "original question." There was an original post that tried to shade facts in such a way as to support a completely erroneous conclusion. Anyone who can think is welcome to read my previous posts, which explain this very clearly.
You're being increasingly ridiculous. If I said in the middle of this discussion that Emperor Penguins have an average lifespan of 17 years, would that be irrelevant? (Hint: YES.)
If I responded to the OP with the Fact that the sale of plastic coated safety pins corresponds Exactly with the rate of automobile accident fatalities over the past few years, would that be irrelevant?
Extrapolate, and try your hardest to understand that your statement is absurd. Period.
He can say what he wants, but I still don't like such a falsehood, that drives so much resentment among the black community, being perpetuated. It would help race relations if they realized the authoritarian jackboots aren't just stepping on their necks, but all of our necks.
I notice a TON of black comedians do rely on racist oppression for their entire set. I don't mind for comedy sake. There's definitily been some of it based on reality, I hope we can continue to joke about it, rather than perpetuate it. but yes, even joking perpetuates it too
