Furiosa recommendation.

Decided to give this film a fresh spin since I was so impressed with Hemmy's bad guy role in Furiosa. And was not disappointed. This is a f'n great movie. And Chris is awesome here too. The subject matter is also right after my heart, but oddly, I truly did not care for this film one bit when it came out. Can't say why. Looked fake, felt wooden, lots of things. But watching it tonight, with my almost dead father in an RV on a shitty little TV, it really punched hard. Very, very strong themes present, and outstanding visuals, and really, just wow. And Chris is terrific. The subtitles helped. Pops is basically deaf. Lot of mumbling accents in the picture certainly hindered my experience. Anyhow. Thumbs up.
