What a terrible movie!
So much wrong with this film it's hard to know where to begin.
Firstly, it was hard to follow what was going on a lot of the time. I had little clue what the intentions of the bad guys, and the good guys were. It seemed to pluck things out of thin air and run with it, like suddenly the Enchantress has a brother. What were the motives of the two of them? They were not very well explored, nor were a number of the characters.
Terrible casting for the Enchantress. I've felt more intimidated by my pet cats than a young girl looking a bit moody. They could have chosen a better actress for the part, she was poor. Not that the character particularly fits into this sort of universe. In He-Man's universe perhaps, but not Batman's.
The soundtrack was unimaginative. Granted the music is good but it's like some random selections I'd make a playlist out of. It's as if they thought they'd play it safe by choosing some classics people like.
Dialogue was poor. Nothing really clever or memorable, and the jokes fell flat. The Enchantress's script was basically a compilation of various villainous cliches that we've all heard before.
I don't even know what I can say that WAS good about this film. Erm, Harley Quinn's outfit maybe? There was potential in the idea, only the direction and writing was rubbish.
