Like/Don’t like

Spoiler alert. I assume we all know the fate of Elisa Lam since that’s very old news but veer away from this thread if you don’t.

I hate the typical substitution of melodrama for substance so common in these reality crime shows. But...

I love the material about Skid Row. I was clueless.

I love the couple from England as a way to introduce supporting material.

I love the foreshadowing shots of the water tanks on the roof.

I didn’t know the story so I was drawn in.

I walked through skid row once trying to get to a cafe in the hipster area. It was damn weird. People just hanging out. Someone cutting someone else’s hair on the street. Black people live like Africans I guess.

reply

You think that is how people in Africa live? oooof

reply

Yes I do, I've seen Africa on tv

The whole continent eh?
I have to assume you are a troll at this point....or a 3rd grader, I guess.

Eh? Ooof? These are not english words buddy.

It was interesting enough but it didn't need to be 4 episodes long, especially as it ended with them just 'agreeing' she either killed herself or was a victim of a psychotic break that led to the accident.

I don’t like the melodramatic rapid-fire edits that are so common today.

I like how the documentary unfolds in a way similar to how a casual observer would have processed this story from reading the news and and other info found on the web. It appeared on the surface to be a murder but then her history of psychosis came to light and changed everything.

I liked hearing Morbid’s perspective. I hadn’t thought about him since the story first broke.
