The first wife is a miserable shrew. He's lucky to have parted with her. He should have worked harder to make his second marriage succeed. The second wife was worth it.
shareSeason 3 is based upon the book Gods of Guilt. Haller talks about Maggie and Hayley, but they do not appear. Except that he talks on the phone to Maggie once and sends an unanswered text to Hayley.
I think there will be several characters from the book that do not appear in the series, again. Earl, Aronson and and some of the people testifying at the trial are not likely to be in the series. The Jennifer Aronson character from The Fifth Witness was replaced by an expanded role for Lorna (Ex #2). Driver Earl is not likely to be in the series as Izzy is Haller's driver.
