And, they need to get Samantha back, and soon. Send her a blank check. Her return saves this show. Period.
How're they gonna do that now that the actor has been cancelled and the other one hates the show?
They can bring new people on who are good enough to make you forget the others.

Well, Samantha won't come back. At least not in person but maybe they can fake a telephone call or sth like that.
What they really need to save this season are some new ideas!
Charlottes life is too perfect that its boring! Something dramatic needs to happen to her!!!
And Carrie...she needs to get pregnant!! That would be something new! In all the seasons a baby was never a topic for her but now it happened by accident and now she has to face it!
Carrie’s in her mid 50s and she never ever wanted children.
Charlotte’s life is boring but she always was the one who played it safe. I thought it was an interesting storyline to have her parenting a non-binary child. Charlotte is a typical Upper East side wealthy mom. Her current storyline reminds me of the funny but short-lived series Odd Mom Out.
Big flashbacks ain’t gonna happen with Chris Noth’s career tanking behavior. If this show makes it to S2 it will likely put him even more in the hazy, forgotten past.
A Samantha comeback would save the day. Hope they can persuade her to do even one episode to tie up loose ends.
I didn’t like the way they handled Willie Garson’s death by making Stanford run off to Tokyo, leaving Anthony. I guess they had to finda way to keep Anthony character on the show.
