PG-13?
Jesus Christ. Nuff said.
shareJmcafee, I skipped it for that reason, I like my zombie flicks hardcore, bloody, gory, and nasty, I DO NOT like them sanitized and watered down
shareWhat is the point in making a Zombie movie if you are going to make PG13. It is usually the equivalent of a 12 or sometimes 15 certificate in Ireland and the UK. I have no problem with 15 cert movies or for that matter U. PG. PG 13 Or any other rating but this is a zombie movie and I prefer my zombie movies a bit more hardcore than the average 12 year old should watch.
shareI know right?, if you water it down, you take away the impact and it just ends up being stale
shareThe point was to make a quirky twist on Pride and Prejudice by adding Zombies.
If you want Hardcore, blood and gore zombies you should be glad that the rating alerted you this isn't what you're looking for.
It's violent enough that I'm really surprised they got away with what they did under a modern PG-13. If this is what PG-13 movies are going to be able to get away with going forward it'd be nice. It's a more violent movie than some R rated action movies like The Matirx and Terminator 2, movies that just got their R because someone says "fûck" more than once. Probably helps too that most of the violent imagery is with already dead (so non human) fantasy creatures.
