One of the best child performances of all time?

I would say so...he was straight up brilliant.

Yeah, absolutely. Almost never do I watch a film and laud the performance of a child actor in it. This kid was incredible, convincing.

The performance was so real, at many points I was wondering: HOW can this child participate in the movie and not have combat-related PTSD at the end of it as a result.

He was a marvel. The last time I saw someone so young deliver an Oscar caliber performance was in the movie Beasts of the Southern Wild.

Yes, he was great. Excellent performance. He did good with depicting the various emotions he felt.

Him and the kid that played Strika. Amazing. Fukunaga has a gift to bring the best out of his actors

Can't think of any child actor in history who gave a better performance.

The closest was Bale in Empire of the Sun, but Attah just had more variety and depth to his performance that is scary for a teenager.
