Huge holes

Jack has worked on that job for 12 yrs WITH Imogen and Maurice but they don't recognize is not him? Hmm
So they just kept the charade cuz "Jack" is a better chef?

It was an ok movie but I kinda knew almost right away what was going on, I just don't like when there are those huge holes in the plot.

When Jack walked into the house, Imogen introduced herself and Maurice as though they had never actually met Jack before. Jack and Ryan hadn't seen each other in 12 years but it was never said that Jack worked for these people for 12 years. We don't know how long he worked for them, maybe not long at all.

I got the impression that Imogen and Maurice were not the only ones who host these dinners so Jack probably dealt with different hosts in the past so they had never met face to face.

I really enjoyed this movie. A little horror, a little drama a little comedy. I thought it started a little slow and I'm glad I continued to watch. It got really good IMO.

Imogen and Maurice were most likely the employees in that specific county. Maurice was a native Spanish speaker and Imogen also spoke pretty good Spanish.
Jack worked in multiple places, probably never in that country.
At a certain point they must have figured out he's not really Jack, but as Maurice said: "they never know" ( when they're getting killed)
