I wouldn't call it plagiarized. I would call it homage.

The crane shot of the alligator over the swimmer reminded me of the crane shot in the pond scene in Jaws

This is ridiculous, so if there is an axe in a scene then it plagiarized other movie with an axe. Following that idea they will run out of items to put in their scenes very fast. If there is a chocolate box then it plagiarize Forrest Gump, lol.

I'm old
I've seen every horror movie
It's the "shots" I'm referring to...., the lighting, the camera, the scenario, location, casting etc.
Certain scenes were pulled directly from other movies.
