Bane is often credited in the DC comics as the only person to have ever broken the Bat. Pus after 8 years out you could forgive Batman for not initially being up to the task of handling Bane.

TDKR was not a flop, it was the final movie in a trilogy, though admittedly I was hoping for many more in the Nolan universe.

shareBruce didn't quit because of Rachel, he quit because Batman wasn't needed anymore. Rachel was his motivation to leave Batman behind but when she died it sent him further into his obsession to the point where he was just waiting for evil to rise again so he'd have a reason to be Batman.

shareThis movie isn't only a bad Batman movie, it's just a downright bad movie with so many issues. Easily Nolan's weakest film, by far. Felt like he just wanted to be done with the trilogy but had to make a third movie because he was under contract. I'd be done with it too if I had to go from the genius that is Heath as Joker to the comedy that is Hardy as Bane.
Loved the first two, this one is just a disaster.

When I said IMDB proves TDKR isn’t a flop I wasnt just referring to box office, I was referring to a combination of factors including audience opinion, IMDB proves that TDKR was well liked by audiences therefore it’s foolish to say its a flop. Blade Runner 2049 was also beloved by fans and critics despite not making much at the box office. So no you can’t disregard IMDB
