The reason I'm saying this is because if they did I'm sure it would get a lot of complaints about the way they portray women in this show.

Spike TV is marketed as the channel for guys. So I think this type of show brings in the demo that they are looking for (young adult men).

The truth is.... Let's click on it's IMDB 4,845 votes that give it the 8.5 rating and get the break down.

Hmmmm... 4,357 male votes and only 293 female votes. Sound like the viewing party would be a sausage fest. Still funny as hell and I will continue to watch. Honestly though... Numbers don't lie.

I am a woman and I LOVE this show. My favorite character is Thad because he is such a dork.

And the way they portray women is not at all wrong. Most girls I know are just as big of sluts, especially the cheerleaders. I also think the show portrays men correctly. College boys drinking, doing drugs and only thinking about banging girls...sounds about right to me!

Thad is hilarious how dorky he is. The actor that plays him does a great job. And as a guy i'd say yup thats how we really think. Girls, booze, partying & sports... thats typically what a guy is thinking about at any point in the day.

Same here girlfriend! My son actually got me hooked on the show. And Thad is freakin' hilarious...Especially when he's screaming like a girl;) My favorite scene is when the girl with no arms is running his ass down on the field. I laughed so hard I cried:)

But to be fair, i don't think that's how the majority of guys are portrayed either.

Sure, I know of a few women watching this show.

Considering US shows here in Norway "have" to be downloaded via torrents because we generally dont get a lot of them on any TV channels (or get them a lot later than the US), the amount I know is watching BMS is actually quite good.
