It was good until it wasn't. 5/10

The sensitivity to sound of the monsters is not consistent and that makes the movie silly, they can hear the ripping of a cloth in one instance but they cant hear a crowd of people marching on the streets in an other instance or how all those people got onboard a ship

Also a hot protagonist like Emily Blunt is important to a movie, that black girl wasn't hot... Isn't that the basic criteria for a girl to become actress? What happened to that

Did it bother you how quickly society figured everything out? In the first film, humans were making simple mistakes even though they had gone over a year having to adjust their lifestyles. In this film, they all seemed too smart so quickly.

reply

Yes that's another thing, it seems like they didn't put a lot of thought into it in many ways

reply

Yeah man there are 333 million Americans, millions of hotter female protagonists possible to be cast. I saw 3 or 4 just at the gym today that are hotter

reply

This film does have an attractive protagonist though. The cat was very good looking.

reply

Well, it's too bad there no pretty white girls in the movie for you to stroke to. The weak-ass story had her written in as having cancer She wasn't suppose to be hot. (geez). The ripping of the cloth was proceeded by the loud noise the generator made, which had lured the creature to the area. Once in the area, the specific sound of the rip was all it needed. I guess you missed that?

reply

Yes, I missed things because the movie does not manage to keep me interested, they messed it up quickly, it was a so and so movie

reply

For an animal that hunts by sound, it sure made a lot of noise.
