Lose the tie Eric

It is just totally unbelievable that Eric would still have his tie on by day three. Don’t say it’s because he’s British because so am I and we can’t stand wearing ties. As soon as I noticed it, it bothered me. I was waiting for it to be a prop and save his life or something. But no, he just kept the damn thing on. Ruined the film for me.

I totally agree. I was like I would have lost that tie the moment I emerged from the flooded sewer & saw Frodo (if not sooner).

Also twice he was completely submerged in water, first time we see him coming out of the flooded subway and secondly when he went back down into the flooded subway but after both times he just stayed in his wet clothes, even when he went to her apartment he didn't even take his coat off to get dry.

More annoying was the fact that he kept crying and panicking multiple times like a woman, while the woman had to console him and tell him to be strong and that it's OK, like she was the man.

Gotta love the feminist-themed nonsense in modern day Hollywood (eye roll).
