Surely the most ungrateful character in film history (spoilers)

So let me get this straight, Blomquivst risks his life, the life of his colleagues and his magazine to prove Lisebeth's innocence and she can't even be arsed to say thank you to him or her lawyer??? Blomquivst risked everything, went above and beyond the call of duty to save her and she skulks off without a bye or leave?

Possibly the least sympathetic character I've seen in film. It must be a family trait as her half brother is probably the least impressive villain I've ever seen in film either, he has all the on screen charisma of a wet lettuce...

It ruins a reasonably good film...

darenwheeler, you really don't get the complexities of Lisbeth's traumatised personality (which I thought the trial in this scene portrayed really well) let alone the relationship she has to Blomkvist who accepts her how she is. The ending where she extends the tiniest gesture when she says 'see you around' or some such was brilliant. He got her entirely when he said 'absolutely'.

Most relationships exist through small gestures and nuances. That must puzzle you.

As to her half-brother did you even see installment two? Cos if you had you wouldn't be making the comments you make. In fact have you seen these films ... at all ..?

Thanks for the laugh.

yes, it goes with the genes, the girl is a proper moody b1tch, I also had no sympathy for her.

It is fun and games until someone gets caught. Then it's rape.

I guess they didn't want a American movie ending this would be a happy end.
Also she being alone shows that she is finally a person on her own.

also in the book she was in love with Blomquist and maybe she was afraid of Falling for him Again.
