Good story, could have been better

The film starts well, leaving us intrigued about the health of both protagonists.
At one point I thought Alice was "the crazy one" and she had lost her child, but the final development was unsatisfactory.
And they never explained the event with grandmother's pillbox. Alice found it in the garden and then it appears in her husband's vehicle?? They never explained what happened there.

Probably Celine saw her and took the pills and put them back in the garden.
What do you mean Alice lost her child? It was Celine who lost her son, there's no ambiguity about it.
People complain about the ending, but villains getting away with murder is not uncommon in movies ( and obviously in real life), but I think the problem is that they didn't show us enough of Celine and her motivations, her mental health or her past. So the end came as a surprise

reply

I saw it coming the moment Alice apologized to Celine. Because it set up the twist as in so many movies.

reply

I agree it couldve been better...and to let Celine stay in the house after her husband passed away was kind of ridiculous since she was suspicious of her for a long time.
