Which version did you watch? (The Pitch or The Thread)

i downloaded it offline and i watched the thread which is about 2 teenage boys who decide to play a prank on the boys younger brother by telling them about a fake movie they cant find online called movie 43.

I saw it in theaters here in the U.S which had The Pitch. Probably the worst wrap around I've ever seen in a sketch film. Not only was it not funny, but it didn't even really have a connection to the skits either.

I count six shots.
I count two guns!

I downloaded it months ago & it was the thread storyline. Watching it on netflix now & it's the pitch storyline. I thought I was going crazy & thinking of a different movie at first...

I've seen both versions, the one with the kids doesn't work because they're looking online for obscene stuff, and honestly the sketches in this movie as crude as they are, are not in the same league as the nastiest stuff you can find on the internet (Two Girls One Cup being the most-seen example.) The "pitch" version works better because the skits are just movie ideas from an insane guy.

Are there different sketches, or is it just a different connecting storyline? I've only seen it with what I guess is "The Pitch" (Dennis Quad trying to sell a movie to Greg Kinnear).

I watched it online and that version was the one with the kids.

Maybe that bloody dagger will lead us to the murder weapon.

The Thread. When I heard about the Pitch I found that skit. I liked The Thread better I think.
I liked the actual skits the best. I loved this movie. Yeah, I have a sick sense of humor, no doubt. But so do a ton of others evidently. I certainly am not too embarrassed to laugh.

I'm watching the alternate cut on the UK DVD version and I'm confused on which is which: Theatrical or Uncut.
