Loved Ridley's early films, but this was way below par.

Too much screen time given to a slut wife.

Waterloo was a hopeless effort- boring, short and inaccurate.

Wellington was portrayed badly and Everett can't act.

Napoleon's relationship with Josephine is one of the most interesting things about him and I don't have any more affection for the British than Napoleonic France so I don't care of Wellington comes off well.

I felt the same about the awful The Patriot.

No affection for the US.
