nothing against Chris Rock but this is pointless.
The acting in the original is dull and prosaic. The actors are pale, plain, and unattractively European. At least the Hollywood remake has heavyweights attached --both in front and behind the camera. Even still with a few minor exceptions, the plots are virtually the same. Seriously, some critics carry on as if comparing the two films is equivalent to contrasting Shakespeare and reality television. In my opinion, the one good constant in both versions is the mournful indignant blackmailing gay dwarf.
