So, I'm willing to give this movie a chance, however, one thing i'm worried about is Marsden int Alan Tudyk's role. I think that Tudyk was around 30% of the first films humor, and he was able to pull it off, I don't know if Marsden will be able to as well.

Would Pamela Anderson do Dana Scully as well as Gillian Anderson in The X-Files
Seeing as Tudyk was "the American" in our British original, it stands that the character could have been British in your American remake.
I feel as if it would add an extra level of comedy for you guys to have a well-spoken, perfectly nice Englishman do crazy *beep* on LSD.
I thought Marsden was great. He more than pulled it off (as did Tudyk).
Actors do not have a job...they have a blast!
