Mainly because we never got a proper season of the BTK killer on the netflix show Mindhunter before it got cancelled, he was sprinkled throughout season 2 of Mindhunter showing us tiny glimpses of him, and we never got to really go into it before it was cancelled.
So a whole season on him preferably with the same actor from Mindhunter for Monster would be great.
BTK would be OK, but I would rather have a whole season on the Santa Cruz killings beginning with insane environmentalist John Linley Frazier in 1970 and continuing to 1973's earthquake-happy Herbie Mullin and coed killer Edmund Kemper (also featured in Mindhunter)
Definitely agree that the Mindhunter actors should come back. BTK was very convincing and so was the Kemper actor.
Such a shame that show was cancelled. So many things left unresolved.
shareYeah i know, i'm most disappointed about not getting the BTK killer followed up on, i was really intrigued and loved how they showed us tiny glimpses of the BTK killer just casually going about his day at the beginning of episodes in season 2, they was so creepy. A shame we never got more into it, but they could make up for that with this show hopefully.
