I have questions after Episode #1

I have questions. I have always had questions about Skrulls within the MCU:

Having them immune to radiation is a "thing" that I suppose enables them to manipulate matter/energy for clothes or other things that they have in their possession? Or is it an illusion?

1. Do the non-host victims need to remain alive for the Skrulls who copy them to maintain the memory connection?
2. It takes a lot of resources and technology to build all of the human containment pods that keep them in quasi-stasis. How do the humans stay alive? What are they using for nourishment? Where do the Skrulls get all of the materials to do that? Did anyone think of "The Matrix" when they saw the containment units?
3. Are there side-effects for remaining in human form for extended periods of time?
4. Given the number of Skrulls that are on Earth now how did they all get there and where are their ships?
5. They live a couple of hundred years as compared to humans, but do they also have more offspring?

reply

1. Depends on who the character is. Gravity killed his host and Fury's wife's host died. So apparently you don't.
2. The same stupid science magic that they don't ever feel the need to explain
3. Maybe developing feeling for the host's friends and relatives? Other than that apparently no.
4. More unexplained BS. And even Gravik didn't know how many Skrulls were actually on Earth.
5. I think that there were Skrull kids in Captain Marvel, but I don't remember. But yeah there should be some American Citizen Skrulls.

"But yeah there should be some American Citizen Skrulls."

Ok, now that's an interesting point ... do alien (even illegal) kids that are born in US become US citizens and so are protected?

reply

4. Some got to Earth from escape pods after Captain Marvel blew a hole in their refugee ship near planet Torfa when they set an ambush against Starforce; no usable ships.
