Wouldn't go that far. It doesn't even come close to Dark.

The timelime is a mess, just as an example.

Bur IT IS very entertaining.

Dark is good but you have to pay close attention to specific momments to understand whats going on, great writing and plot but I also got bored with the pacing which is a frustrating combination.

For me pacing was perfect, allowing time to realize who the fuck is who and to take in and observe all the personal drama and the intricacy of the plot.

It doesn't even come close to Dark.

Just remembered this comment - first read this just after finishing the second season of Umbrella Academy and watching the first few episodes of Dark.

After now finishing Dark I've got to say I'd definitely agree with that. It's men against boys stuff really.

Someone recommended Doom Patrol to me the other day, so I'll watch and see how that compares.

I agree, this show is excellent and it's different than most anything out there, it's fun, weird and so colorful. The plot has so many details and emotional integrity with good character development. All over the best that Netflix has put out in my opinion.

Dark is just so HEAVY, it’s kind of like pitting the Dark Night Batman movies against Marvel, I prefer Marvel because I want to have a good time but some preferred Batman because it was serious and gripping. Two different personalities.

Well, I would say that some makes you think (which i like) and some just give more mindless action/entertaining. Which i still like but less :D

That's why I would place The Boys over UA. (just an exaample)

Hardcore Henry is one of my favorites, eg :D
And i loved UA as well.
