Oh Please, not that good
It just wasn't, the story was unbelievable and ordinary all at the same time.
Foreign films usually get away with this for some reason but if this was mad win english it would be laughed off the screen.

I can see your point, Dr. B, but I think that if done properly this film would have done well in the US as well.
The screen presence of the actors was incredible. I was blown away by Soledad Villamil - just such a beautiful woman. And also Ricardo Darín - he's got this sort of classic screen gravitas where you think you've seen him in countless films.
He's like a Argentinian Richard Burton or Anthony Hopkins.
The movie was excellent, but I agree, parts of it were unbelievable but the movie managed to pull it off with excellent acting, dialog and cinematography.
I really enjoyed it and if you read my profile, I get pretty disgusted with foreign films sometimes.
What hump?
I thought for FICTION, it was believable enough and a great movie. 9/10
I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!
I agree with the OP. The film never really led anywhere, except for the petty 'now I'll finally ask her out' thing. It all worked out to be very average and sentimental for me. And the big twist at the end wasn't even really a twist.

Tell me about it - there wasn't any cgi, no Rhianna and not even a sniff of an alien or robot car chase
'Well I've got two words for you - STFU'
