I enjoyed it, even more so when I thought about it - how it dealt with things not being as they seemed, creating your own demons (later revisited in AoU), PTSD, desperation, etc.
And, no matter what anyone says, they did NOT see the twist coming with The Mandarin. They might have guessed that Killian was the real power, but there is no way they guessed exactly how inept and impotent "The Mandarin" really was.

So you have no problems with the fact that this movie completely deviated from its source material for the sake of being its own thing, but you bash Christopher Nolan's Batman films for the exact same reasons for which you compliment this movie. share
