This film gets a lot of flack, not a fan myself. I was wondering what peoples main issue is and if the Mandarin twist was a large contributing factor towards any dislike.
Personally I thought that even disregarding the twist, Killian made for a boring villain. Also hated the super pepper moment and that overlong and frankly uninteresting final battle.
The one skinhead villain who put Happy in the hospital, lead the chopper attack on Tony's house, attacked Tony and held the kid hostage, and who FINALLY died when a hole got blown through his chest annoyed the *beep* out of me. Was SO happy when he finally bought the farm. Also Killian was annoying for me as well. The Mandarin "reveal" was a bit funny, but a let down as a fan of the comics. Also I thought the attack on Tony's house was a bit ridiculous. Maybe with 10 choppers, yes, but he got defeated by only 3? He took on an alien army and Loki FFS! He should have been more prepared! Lastly Tony spent waaay too much time outside of his armour, and when he did it wasn't cool (kept falling apart, not enough power, etc.) and instead of cool action they tried to focus too much on silly humour. Overall this film was the weakest and least appealing of the 3 Iron Man films for me.

-That terrible opening scene with that terrible pop song that I hated when it first came out
-Pepper Potts in yoga paints defeating the main villain
-The main villain
-The twist
-Trevor Sluttery
-Terrible last act
-Tony Stark removes reactor from his chest
-Those terrible end credits with cheesy montage and another horrible pop song (or whatever the hell the genre of that trashy song was)
The bit between the opening credits and the end credits.
shareWorst moment is when they turned a MAJOR villain like the Mandarin into a joke.
