I didn't expect to like this show as much as I do, and now I'm on the last season. Any recommendations to other shows like this?

Boomtown was somewhat similar and quite good. But I think it was cancelled after the 2nd season.

I like the Canadian show 19-2. But other than portraying the day-to-day life of Police Officers it's not really very similar.

But you should check out the movies End of Watch and Street Kings if you havent seen them.

I agree regarding Boomtown. In fact, I liked it better--at least the first season. It's a shame it didn't catch on.

Third Watch, The Shield and Rescue Me (this one is with firefighters but it's written and filmed in a similar way)
